Grown up I

It was late at night in Middleton and Kim Possible, the former teen hero, was studying in her room. She was finishing up with her work as she suddenly heard several knocks.

Kim slowly got up, rubbing her nosebridge and she walked to the door. She opened the door and frowned when she saw nobody there. "Huh? I was certa--.."

The knocking continued and made Kim turn around.

She frowned and walked towards the window, where the knocking came from. "Who.." Suddenly lightning struck and Kim's eyes widened. It had been raining for quite some time now, but she did not pay any attention to anything else but her books.

She quickly opened the window and watched a blackhaired woman step in.

"W-what are you doing here? I am not in the mood to fight.."

"I didn't come here to.."

Suddenly a baby cried and the woman sighed, slowly moving her arms a bit, in which she carried something wrapped in a blanket.

"Shego, what."

"I want you to take care of it."

"Take care of it? I can't.."

"Do you maybe have something dry, it's soaking wet.."

"Well..s-sure.." Kim whispered and she walked towards her closet, taking out several towels. She looked at Shego as she sat down on a chair. She smiled gently and walked towards her, laying the towels on the table next to her. "Here you go." She said softly.

Shego looked up at Kim and smiled gently. "Thank you." She said and she lifted the child, for Kim to take.

"Did you find her?" Kim asked as she took the child out of Shego's arms, undoing the blanket around it and drying it of with the towel.

"Not really.." Shego said softly.

"Then how did you.."

"Drakken found her.. and he wanted to keep her, to test his.." Shego sighed and looked away, not even drying herself off with the towel.

Kim had placed the baby on her bed for a moment. She gasped and placed her hand before her mouth. "H-he can't!"

"That's why I brought the baby to you.."

Kim frowned and looked at Shego, taking a t-shirt ou of her closet. "Shego.. I gave up being a hero.." She said softly.

"Kim! You have to help me with this one!" Shego said and she got up.

Kim walked to the baby and took of it's wet clothes, drying it and then putting on her t-shirt. She sighed and looked at Shego, before walking to her. She took a towel and then ran it over Shego's hair. She looked at the raindrops in her hair and then lowered her gaze to meet up with her eyes.

"Please, pumpkin.." Shego whispered. "You have to help m.. the baby.."

Kim lowered the towel to Shego's cheek and gently rubbed it. She stopped for a moment and she turned to look at the baby.

Shego placed her hand upon Kim's cheek and waited for her to turn her head back and meet her eyes. "Kimmie.."

Kim's cheek turned soft pink as she turned back to Shego. "Why did you think of me first?"

Shego blushed as she heard Kim's question. "Ki-Ki.. W-well.. because.."

Kim smiled and nodded. "Alright.. I'll do it, just for you." Kim whispered.

Shego's eyes widened and she blinked her eyes. "Really?"

Kim smiled gently and nodded. "But."

"What?" Shego's gaze turned a little more serious.

"You have to promise me, you'll come by to see her."

"Right." Shego said. "That's a promise."

Kim smiled gently and walked back to the baby. "Do you have any idea what her name might be?"

"N-no.." Shego watched Kim sit down next to the child and run her fingers over her skin. "Not a single clue."

Kim lifted her hand to her mouth and yawned.

"A-are you alright?"

"Hmn?" Kim rubbed her eyes and looked at Shego. "Oh.. Well, I am pretty tired."

Shego's eyes widened. "I didn't wake you, did I?"

Kim gigled softly and she shook her head. "No, I was studying for school, I have several exams tomorrow and I was actually going to sleep."

"S-so I'm keeping you up? D-damn.."

"Shego!"

Shego frowned. "What?"

"No cursing around her."

Shego placed a hand upon her lips and gasped. "S-sorry.."

Kim lowered her gaze to the child and she smiled. "It seems that she's asleep."

Shego smiled gently and slowly got up. "Guess it's time for me to go then.."

"You're not leaving just yet.."

"Huh?"

"You're forgetting something.."

Shego blinked her eyes as she looked at Kim, who looked up at her.

Kim smiled gently as she replaced the child, covering it with several layers of sheets.

"Tell me.." Shego took a breath. "..exactly.. what am I forgetting?"

Kim looked back up at Shego and smiled. "A good night kiss."

Shego's eyes widened as she looked at Kim who made the child as comfortable as possible.
